Corporation Social Responsibility (CSR) Audit

Nowadays, due to the increasing attention on the environment and human rights from the international community, a growing number of brands start regarding CSR performance as one of the most important indicators for supplier selection. For suppliers, taking on social responsibility not only brings advantages for their business operation and reputation, but also contributes to the local social organizations. For brands, assisting suppliers to improve CSR performance is also a way for them to increase their commercial values.
Brugger is a German corporation for manufacturing permanent magnetic assemblies. In 2015, we conducted CSR audit for suppliers of Brugger in China.We helped Brugger to acquire current state of suppliers and assisted suppliers with the improvement on missing items. The specific services we offered for Brugger include:

CSR audit
According to ISO 26000, conducting CSR audit in the aspects of management system, business ethics, labor rights, environmental protection, occupational health and safe production. 

     •Improvement suggestions
       According to the deficiencies found in auditing, providing suppliers with feasible suggestions for improvement
     •Review
       Reviewing before or after the completion of relevant improvements

Training
Providing short-term EHS training to EHS managers of the enterprise (including department heads) and front line foremen (including operators engaging in high-risk operation), in order to raise suppliers’ awareness of CSR and EHS.

Improvement coaching
Evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness for improvement projects proposed by suppliers, and inspecting improvement outcomes after the completion of the projects.

Certification
Providing 4 levels of certificates for suppliers according to their training participation, conduction of improvement project and amount of procurement, which help Brugger to determine the subsidy distribution of improvement projects and suppliers selection in the future.
